Trained and Certified Team Members
It’s important to us and the families we serve that team members are trained and certified. We require each team member to become CARES® Certified. This level of training helps improve relations, understanding and reporting within the communities. We learned that this also has helped to promote an added level of team play and cohesion—adding to how we’re able to retain employees above industry averages.
Often, our trained and certified team members become family to the resident’s family. Not because they spend so much time together, but because they care. Our team makes added efforts to learn about the residents from their background and history to how they like their coffee and what their favorite meals are to their hobbies, talents and even family events. In this way, our proprietary programs are tailored to each individual resident. This is how we make memory care as individual as the resident.
